During episode 48, I spent time with an ivy league trained neuroscientist turned entrepreneur to discuss her pioneering and impactful brain health work and company.
Dr. Yael Katz is the co-founder and CEO of BrainCheck, a comprehensive cognitive health startup to help people of all ages understand what’s happening in their brains. BrainCheck’s easy-to-use platform supports primary care physicians and neurologists in assessing, diagnosing, and caring for patients with dementia, Alzheimer’s, and other forms of cognitive impairment.
While together, Dr. Katz and I discussed her professional training and entrepreneurial pursuits as well as her founding journey with BrainCheck, how her organization is helping her partners and patients during the COVID-19 pandemic, and where she sees cognitive health heading in the future.
It’s a privilege to be able to share Dr. Katz’s important work and mission at BrainCheck- to help physicians deliver the highest quality, person-centered cognitive care, and to help people of all ages understand what’s happening in their brain. Because of leaders like Dr. Katz, I know the healthcare industry will better understand the importance of cognitive health for our communities across the nation.
